That's episode 2. Episode 1 is repeated on Friday. See: https://www.comedy.co.uk/tv/stewart_lee_comedy_vehicle/
Can't wait for this! Though I'll have to as I'll more than likely be asleep when its prestige slot of 11.20 rolls around.

Dammit, I forgot to set the recording thing, which means relying on the misses to work it.
Which means I'll watch it on iPlayer.
I too would have preferred an earlier slot on BBC Four, but there's always iPlayer.
I've got a feeling that Stewart might have persuaded the BBC to hide it away in the schedules to avoid over exposure. If you go to his website at the moment, it keeps flashing up loads of negative comments people have posted about him online. I think he wants to put off the casual viewer. For fans though it is sure to be a real treat. My TV guide states that the theme of the first show will be charity. Last summer I saw him perform about 10 minutes around this theme, most of which was about crisps. He used the same style of repetition that he used when talking about rappers in the last series but built it up to make a very good observation about racism and prejudice. I can't quite remember how he achieved the leap in subject matter but it involved his grandad, poppies and Godzilla. It was great!
Also there will be a treat for comic book fans this series as apparently Alan Moore will be appearing in a sketch featuring spam and cocaine!
I hope there aren't too many spoilers there.

You'll find out in just a few minutes!
Sheeeeet I'm bloody knackered and need my bed.
Can't believe it's on this late.

He actually started that joke at half past eight.
Criiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiisps!!!
Well that was quite good
Four jokes?
The bits with Armando were a pointless distraction though
damn, I need some Quavers...
Well, that was... Interesting?
No real laugh out loud moments for me, but I loved the way he deconstructed those four jokes, that was very funny. The rest was a little bit too surreal. Maybe that was the point? I'm not sure.
Not bad, but I was expecting better.
