Why would you openly provoke someone by criticising their scarf? That's asking for trouble. :S

:O Really?, as a fashion guru I had every right...

Teary Blimey, fancy a date?

;) If you can take the pace, yes! might be a bit rough here for a soft southener though?

Were you just walking past her, and out of nowhere said 'stupid ugly scarf' to her?

We were taking the 'piss' out of football supporters in general, she was massive and scarf was dirty, so had a comment that she over-reacted to.

Errr I was 15

I powered up, aimed and BAM.

Great story!
Not sure what I would have done, probably not the same as you. Too often people end up dead from a 'lucky' punch, and I wouldn't want my girl to lose her dad; nor would I want to end up on a manslaughter charge. I've studied kickboxing, so I know how to fight, and I would be reluctant to use those skills for anything other than self-defence. Anyway, your course of action worked fine in this case, well done.

You know how to kick box or watched loads of matches?

(Genuine non-sarcastic answer)

(A little bit sarcastic)

:) Oh I thank you, I was sounding like a thug but I HATE violence!

I'll deck you.

I'm surprised others haven't mentioned martial arts, there must be a few, surely?

I'm not into sports. But if I had to be, I'd definitely choose to do some sort of martial art. I'm not cool enough to pull it off but I love Capoeira.

Chips a marital arts expert. He's studied it too.

;) Is that a new coffee?...
With a strong kick?

Me and a friend went to boxing classes when we were kids, after rewatching Rocky several times. Well, we went to A boxing lesson; then at the end we watched a sparring session in which a young boy got punched to bits for five minutes. After that we suddenly realised boxing involved getting punched repeatedly in the face and thought better of going back.

:D Good idea, I do think some people like the physicalness of wrestling or fighting, maybe an alternative to close relationships?

You mean sex, Dellas? Yes with me there's very little difference ;) ahem Huh?

I got so angry a few years ago that I broke a coat hanger with my bare hands.
