We were fortunate to have a holiday in the US booked about that time so we managed to escape from much of the hysteria in 1997. However, it was a bit of shock to arrive in San Francisco and be wandering round the Cathedral we we were politley asked to leave. We asked why and obviously as soon as we spoke they realise that we were English. We were then invited to stay for the Princess Diana memorial service. We made our excuses and left. Crazies get everywhere.

How much should some one pay for a carrier?
£7 billion according to the current incompetents. But it means that you get a spare and its adaptable for the US market.

Supposedly compatible with all things French but when did you last manage to get anything electrical from the UK to work in France? And of course, this is not available in the shops now. However, if you do place an order, it should be obtainable in about four years time.
