It's quite a long time since I've heard as much pretencious (is that how you spell that? Well it is now!) crap in one place especially as the sketch competition means diddly-squat. It's down to personal taste and that's that. If I got pissed every time my sketches got binned I'd be a f**king alcoholic. You are doing a disservice to this honourable and venerable site. It is indeed the greatest honour to be a part of it.

Just to let you know, your heartless actions have led Kent Pete to fall off the wagon. 18 months he'd been sober and regularly attending 12 step meetings.
I went round to his house yesterday and he was incoherent. He's playing Irish rebel songs 24/7 and is close to being evicted from his council property. And yes Caroline Mack was there, someone has to be , he is incapable of bladder control at the moment let alone tending for his dietary and basic hygiene needs.

At least he's still writing in that annoying spoof article style.
Why doesn't he just start a forum for all his multiple personalities to praise each other? Then he could organise competitions which he'd be guaranteed of winning.

Well I like Kent Pete and his stuff so I stand by my suggestion of a 3 month ban from the Weekly Comp and let him back on the site. I think BSG needs eccentrics like KP to liven it up a bit otherwise you can end up with a very bland set of threads (not yours of course..)

Every competition that judges the artistic merit of one piece of work against another is subjective and down to personal choice. I think the fact that a lot of us like the Weekly Sketch Comp and keep chipping into it is a good thing for BSG.
As for KP cheating by voting for his own sketch, it's outrageous and worthy of a three month ban from the comp! Anyway, Aaron and Co will decide and in terms of Armageddon, it doesn't mean a lot either way!
Bring him back.
Anyways, it's easily done. My girlfriend has nearly joined a few times and we share a connection, so I suppose that could've led to disaster. A ban seems a bit harsh to me.
