I bid £1 for the proctologist joke.
I read down to the proctologist joke.
I now feeling lower than a Libdem;'s dignity.
They're not bad, but you really need to edit out some of the weaker ones. And there's too many deliberately poor ironic ones.
Thank you for the replies everyone but I'd like to say that I take my jokes very seriously (thats a joke in itself haha) and that I use twitter to try out ideas mainly. Its totally different to my stand up comedy!
Can't you post them in here, I can't get the link to work... As ar as I'm aware, Critique isn't an excuse to get people to visit your website anyway though.
Hi Vader,
I think it's bad etiquete to post them as tehre's a lot of them and it would clog the board?
As for visiting my blog then sure I would love people too!!!

Nor a comedian after reading your 'joke' list. (pun intended)
These didn't do anything for me I'm afraid.
John after reading 30 became bored, too much at one time.
Post a situation comedy on the Critique forum maybe?

Oh bloomin' eck!
I like your website! I hope you're OK!
I hear that even pro gag writers obey 'the rule of nine'. For every 10 gags you come up with, 9 will be unusable.
It's so tempting to post everything you think of in the hope that someone will find one hilarious, which you previously thought was weak.
It won't happen.
Prune down to the best 10%, then say "This si the best I can do" and ask for honest opinions.
If people still don't laugh, time to try something else.
I, for example, am learning to juggle...
Excellent advice apart from the bit that suggests you give up. For most people, you won't be amazing straight away, and likely it'll be down to performance rather than material. They say you should try each joke three times (with different audiences) before deciding their fate.
I'd get closer to one in 100 for the real weapon's grade jokes.
And even then chizzle and perfect them. It's not without good reason that professional comics are feircely defensive of their best creations.
