Quote: AngieBaby @ January 17 2011, 11:05 PM BSTThat's the one, Garry Shandling was an arse. Shame actually, I loved the show, and I'd have thought Gervais would be a good interviewer, but Shandling doesn't like to share the limelight.
As strange as it might seem, perhaps not everyone has bought into Gervais bandwagon.

Recently, when Shandling was asked what modern comedy he likes, he mentioned Gervais. So must have bought into it a bit!
Anybody know which UK channel this is going to be on? I assume Sky Atlantic have now got first dibs on all HBO stuff?
Season 8 premiering in July in the States. Don't know when it will be on here.
Richard Lewis is great in the series but he has suffered for the last 8 years
Can't wait for season 8.
Hopefully Leon Brings the ruckus.
Quote: Immersion @ April 26 2011, 6:36 PM BSTCan't wait for this, as Curb is probably my favourite comedy series which I watch over and over. Other than Klovn (the Danish copy of this show), I'm trying to find something with a similar feel to Curb, does anyone know any which might be similar?
Thanks
Give 'louie' a go.
Great news - season 8 of Curb starts on July 10. I've just seen some previews and, as always, it looks great.
Does anybody know if More 4 are (once again) going to broadcast it in the near future? I'm very impatient - a DVD release in Autumn is not good enough.

Looking forward to this, the last two series of Curb have been a real return to form after a couple of dodgy ones midway through (the Producers series especially).
Interesting to see what Ricky Gervais does. Please no more David Brent/Andy Millman-esque stuff.
CURB update: I've been in contact with More4 and they will DEFINITELY be showing the new series in September.
Why don't they just show it now, before we all watch it by, *ahem*, other means.
After a lacklustre opener, Curb is back to its utterly brilliant best. 'The Safe House' is now my favourite ever episode

There's a good review of this episode at WhatCulture.com. (He certainly agrees with you.)
