Off to a good start tonight.
It's a bit like panto in some respects. Plenty to entertain and terrify the kids, with the odd saucy gag thrown in for mum and dad. Plenty to think about for the geeks, too.
I particularly liked the Mrs Robinson line.

The advantage that Old Who had over New who, was that people started to love the crap bits because they were crap. Cheap effects and rubbish monster suits became laughably enjoyable to aficionados.
Personally, I never grew to love the old crap, and I still hate the new crap*. (Thankfully, this latest episode was brilliant anyway.)
