There's an app for that.

The phrase "musical genius" is used far too often, but the ONLY song in town as far as I was concerned when I was 9 years old... This Time (We'll Get It Right) - England World Cup Squad '82
And, of course, they did get it right and England (under the stewardship of legendary manager Ron Greenwood) won the World Cup in Spain that year! Forget New Order's pretentious World In Motion - it may have sounded a bit more cool and hip... but did it win us the World Cup in 1990? No. Pathetic!
I played this 7" vinyl classic almost constantly on my little turntable. I was almost equally enamored by the 'B' side (though IMO it was a double 'A' record) - England, We'll Fly The Flag
"You hear me New Order, Baddiel & Skinner, Embrace, Ant & Dec, Fat Les...??? Your boys took one hell of a beating!!!"
Oh, and I quite liked XTC's Sgt. Rock (Is Going To Help Me) also.
Ride a White Swan...
...oh and Blinded By The Light...especially the bits about little Hurly Burly giving someones hand a squirly whirly and asking them if they needed a ride and Go Kart Mozart checking out the weather chart to see if it was safe outside...
Am I the oldest person here?

Well, there's Oldrocker... I'm not saying he's old, but he bought his wooden dentures off George Washington. (And so on...)

Gina f******g G, ftw.
I don't think I've ever heard it since I was a nipper but Hey Fatty Bum Bum was the standout record of my herringhood 'Hey fatty bum bum...even though you look like a bus...' isn't that lovely!
I saw this performance on Top of the Pops when I was a little kid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gww98XxU1lc
I asked my mum to buy me the 7" single from Woolworths. It was the first music I'd ever bought, and I think it was the only record I owned, before I switched to tapes. Unfortunately, I didn't even get to listen to it, as I discovered the old family record player was broken when I tried to play it. The next day, when I got home from school, I found out that my mum had taken it back to get a refund. I eventually got another copy of it about 6 or 7 years later, when a new boy started at my school, and he gave me a copy that he had.
Oh, and it's called 'The Show', not "The Slow".
The Sweet and Mud which sounds like some surreal new comedy series.

How would she double as a telephone? Would you talk into her face, or does she have a phone on her head like in that Lady Gaga outfit?
"We were singing & dancing in perfect time
there is nothing in the world that we can do
to stop the light of love from shining through
lalalalalalalalalala we are we are we are we are perfect"
I'm sure that's a real song, & I'm pretty sure I liked it.
