Paul, welcome to the site and thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I can assure you people don't get banned from the BSG on just a whim - trust me, I hate to see people banned because, apart from causing a few raised eyebrows like this, it reduces the size of the community (and no site owner wants to see their audience drop!)
The general consensus is we're actually pretty lenient - we don't delete controversial posts for example.
Anyway, in the case of Kent Pete, I'm not going to go into all the reasons the decision was taken here but suffice to say I think the banning is fair and we haven't over-reacted.
As Aaron has said above he/they aren't necessarily permanently banned (as Jamie Jones has shown). What perhaps isn't in the open - hence these posts - is that Pete has the opportunity to get back to us if he feels he's been un-fairly treated - as of yet he hasn't emailed us back though.
First off, I'm not a mod as it were; I'm involved in a very small part of the forum so I'm not really lumped with the other moderators on the forum though like most people who enjoy the forum I still try to keep peace when I can.
I'm just getting tired of this already... To put it simply, KP broke the rules, even if it was two people under the same roof, can you at least agree with me on it looking ever so slightly suspicious? And that it still broke the rules? They could have easily shared and account?
And as Aaron has mentioned this doesn't mean KP is banned for good. So no need to fret.
And as the competition is a bit of a laugh why are you getting so concerned over the 10 points? Just enjoy the forum for what it is… comedy…

No. But as Paul says, you've got to admit it's looking quite suspicious to us - after all 'Caroline Mack' seems to exist just to promote Kent Pete's comedy in a less-than-open way. Plus, I must admit I am very dubious about the existance of a flat mate - Caroline Mack's profile mentions Manchester - that's a long daily commute from Kent!
Anyway, I think I've explained our position in an open way so there's no point in us discussing things further here. It's good of you to help out your friend, but the rest of the conversation would probably be best coming from him direct by email.
In the meantime I hope you'll stay around and check out the rest of the forum discussions.
I think Kent Pete has shown by his actions that he would make an ideal candidate to become a producer. 
Well I'm pleased people feel so passionately about my creation and it proves that Michael Monkhouse is doing a top job.

To be honest 'Paul' I'm fairly sure the more I think about it that you're also Kent Pete and Caroline Mack. I hope that's not the case but the clues are now all pointing that way (i.e. Caroline Mack - supposedly from Manchester, but also posting from the house you are in now).

The Kent Pete household seems like a great sitcom premise - Caroline Mack (relation to Lee?) and Lily Savage, who spend their time aggrandising each other and whittling away their lives with inane arguments and petty voting tactics.
They can call it Not Going Out (We're just so misunderstood)
