Don't like that one. It made me angry.

Why? I would have thought a romance between massive oddballs would be right up your alley.

Hehe!

I can't remember why it made me angry. Maybe it was completely different than what I expected. Or maybe it was serious and I'd been expecting funny. But I vowed never to watch it again.

Punch Drunk Love is an excellent Adam Sandler film.

Yes, great film, though it's obviously not your typical Sandler vehicle, being a Paul Thomas Anderson movie and not a Sandler written comedy.

A steptoe movie

there was a tranny in it and I'm pretty sure that the dude playing him/her/it was the guy who played Dame Hilda Brackett

typecasting!

I only like Happy Gilmore, can't stand the rest.

I'm sure I've enjoyed a couple, Don't mess with the Zohan made me laugh.

And my sister says she likes the new one with Jennifer Aniston, so I may watch that when it comes out on free TV

Sandler's done plenty of stuff he didn't write. Reign Over Me. Spanglish. Funny People. Etc.

More Sandler bashing. *sigh* Get over it.

Right, now Stewart Lee. What a twat.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that is him/her. I like this film although a lot of Steptoe fans say it's too far removed from the sitcom, taking on a social drama type slant. The 2nd film is proper S&S comedy and one of the best sitcom movies made, but I really like this one too because it explored the 'what if Harold did get married and had a kid' thing that obviously didn't happen in the TV sitcom. No, it was a good effort even though it was a bit different.

Yes it was Patrick Fyffe from Hinge and Bracket.

And yes it is a good film.

Man Utd, innit. In a pub frequented by Tuuumble, but I can't see him.

He'll probably be in the Gents. ;)
