We don't have that kind of romantic 'die like Sylvia Plath', gas anymore Timbo.

I appreciate you're new, but please don't call me "Timbo", as it might lead to me being confused with that deluded fool Timbo. Similarly, don't call Timbo "Tim", as it might to him being confused with that deluded fool Tim. Cheers. ;)

I think I know the story you mean Sooty but the link doesn't go there. This one does. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3538528/Yob-who-left-a-lamb-for-dead-after-dumping-it-in-a-wheelie-bin-is-hunted-by-RSPCA.html?OTC-RSS&ATTR=News

Disclaimer. *Riley would like to make it clear that the use of a link to the sun is of necessity as it was the only clear link to the story that can be found. Otherwise Riley would rather have root canal suregry than read the Sun

I guess that this was Sooty's original intent.

Well, it was bound to happen. The poor woman, it must have been impossible to even pretend to maintain any sexual attraction or genuine affection towards a 'man' who happily and willfully dedicates his life to being Chris Moyles' feed-line bitch. To be honest, the pathetic creature should count himself lucky if she lets him occasionally see the kid. Maybe it might be better if she just raised her daughter to believe that Daddy died when she was little? She could soften the pill by telling her that he was electrocuted whilst mixing together the tape for a new audience participation item on Chris Evans' show, called 'I'm Farting Out The Window, Mummy!'.

How's our satire? Did you think this piece too harsh? Or just woefully unfunny? We're always looking to improve the standard of our bilious misanthropy here at the BCG. So feel free to give your feedback to Aaron.

I suppose unnecessary crucifixions are topical...

Unnecessary? Most definitely. In general, divorces/separations (especially those involving children) are private tragedies which shouldn't be sniped or jeered at. But then I remember that "Comedy Dave" is an enabler for Moyles and it feels more akin to gently ribbing Martin Bormann...

BTW, the name 'Comedy Dave' is interesting, because at first you think "hey, Moyles is being ironic calling him that - it's mocking his perceived failure in his attempts to be funny"... But then you realise that this nickname is being forced upon him by Chris Moyles - an crass oaf who spends him life desperately trying to tease laughs out his dull, witless, sub-6th form level sense of humour. So, to pursue the irony theme, if Dave is named 'Comedy Dave', then it follows that Moyles really should be named 'Comedy Genius Chris'. (I have an 1976 Open University lecture on tape which demonstrates the mathematical workings behind this theory.(
