A Dalek stands at the till agitated (waving it's eye and arms about).

Dalek
Why don't you love me!!

The Dalek rams the self service till with it's plunger.

Self serve checkout
Approval needed.

Dalek
Frigid bitch!

Thanks Putters for the edit :)

:) Good stuff (now) ;)

Very good.

But I'd match more to Dalek patterns of speech.

e.g

"Love me! Love me!" (e.g.the same 4 syllables as Exterminate)

And approval is crying out for another Who monster to come along as the tills dad and tell the Dalek to piss off it ain't good enough.

Cybermen in cardigans and trillbys always amuse me for some reason.

With Sooty's 'improvements' this could be a winner.

Ta mate :)

I reckon always funnier to use steven hawkins rather than a dalek. I picture a seen where it randomly exposes his fall in society ie he's in tesco's uniform and in the scene behind you can see the likes of a brief history of time in the bargain basket. Also to add to it he has'nt taken it to well and gets ridiculously uncharacteristically abusive towards the customers

I'd sooner see Hawking working in a bingo hall calling out the numbers to expose his fall in society but that's just me.

Nice little sketch Gavin.

There's something here, but it isn't there yet.

Don't think me presumptuous, but here is more how I think it could go, where the till and Dalek having more of an exchange:

Maybe the dalek doesn't have to be out of sight !t the start. You could begin with iton the queue, someone is using the self service till for goods in a trolley. Others shoppers tut and tsk, but the dalek disintegrates them, then goes to the till carrying a bunch of flowers. He pays for them and leaves them in the bagging area...

Till: please remove item from the bagging area.

Dalek: but they are for you.

Till: PLEASE remove item from bagging area.

Dalek: why don't you love me?

Till: approval needed.

Dalek: I was never good enough for your fam-i-ly!

Till: do you wish to continue?

Dalek: what is the point. Self de-struct!

Dalek explodes

It's good Gav.

Hi Lady, Na not presumptuous at all. It's an interesting take. My only problem is that really it's a one shot gag and expanding it with more dialogue may take the initial shock value away. But I think I may record this version or a reworked version also.

Alot better, but 4 syllables!

Well in my view anyway.
