Frizzy Hair

Did you read David Mitchell's newspaper column? http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2011/apr/17/david-mitchell-men-beauty-products

He mentions that he uses a hair 'product' which he sprays on after washing to make it more 'manageable' (i.e. less frizzy). He neglected to mention the brand name.....and it probably is some expensive version, anyhoo.

My hair is like a Brillo pad after washing. I have long-ish hair and I want to grow it longer, but the frizzyness is twisting my melon.

Do any of my fellow BCGers know which 'product' I should be looking for in Boots/Tesco/Poundland?

Ta v. much.

As an owner of a fine Jewfro give up hope.

Nothing kills the frizz except baldness

I bet he doesn't use a product especially intended for men. I guess you don't straighten your hair, as that will make it frizzier, but things like mousse or hair serum are usually the best bet.

Ah. Thanks.

I love having longer hair. The option of shaving it closely is a no-no. I look awful. Awful.

I don't straighten it, no. Will look into hair serum and mousse.

There's actually a range called Frizz Eaze. I would get the serum in that range... but don't put too much on.

Thanks, Ellie.

This looks like the jobby: http://www.boots.com/en/John-Frieda-Frizz-Ease-Original-Hair-Serum-50ml_38666/

What does frizzy hair actually mean? :$

My hair doesn't really do anything, just sits there being extremely straight and boring, so I never know what all these things mean.

Or Aussie! I <3 Aussie.

Ooooh, I use Aussie actually.

I use the Dual personality anti-frizz and conditioning milk for my stupid hair.

It means not extremely straight, or curly, or even wavy I guess. Like kinky/coarse/rebellious?

Like sort of fly-away?

I shall Google image frizzy hair.

I find a good hair brush makes more diference than hair product

Flyaway is straight and kind of thin, isn't it? I have frizzyish hair. Very if I don't product it up.

I'm guessing this is what it means:

My hair is especially frizzy in damp weather conditions. :(
