Naked busker needs help with song Page 3

Dunno if any of you guys have actually bothered to look into Donnie's act, but he performs original comedy songs and straight stand up at stand up comedy gigs.

That is an irrelevance. Do you really think that performing Victoria Wood's most famous song to a hen party is akin to trying to pass off some other jobbing comic's original one-liner as one's own?

*waits for Tony Cowards to appear*

Er... the guys a busker. Buskers don't do their own material ever. Well bloody rarely. It's a hen night somewhere - not a stand up comedy gig. He'll be fine doing whatever he wants I should imagine. Plus he's naked. He needs the covers.

Surely all he'd need to is learn to whistle and hire a flautist?

Sorry - I obviously misunderstood him when he asked for a song he could learn in time. :D Is it a private hen gig?

Whistling nnocently Yes, and you're not in the pecking line.

You do know who Denis Nilsen was??

Wasn't he in Airplane?

What about 'The Ballad Of Barry and Freda (Let's Do It)'?

Good choice, and he could introduce the song with this zinger:

Who'd marry Geoffrey Durham?

Victoria Wood
