Welcome TopBanana, perhaps you could start a thread on the neglected genre of comedy folk music. The Kipper Family being a particular favourite of mine.
When I say folk music I mean Kate Rusby, Seth Lakeman, Roddy Woomble, et al, but especuially Nic Jones and his 'Penguin Eggs' album.

I'm not aware of any comedy folk, I'm afraid.......but there was some doc on telly not long ago about Jack something-or-other....? He was FUNNY.
