I had my beard on and didn't mention Jehovah.

Oh no !I did it ! I said Jehovah !

ow,ow ow,ow ,ow,ow . . . .

I know a family who watch LoB every year at Christmas, yet when I mentioned the spaceship scene, none of them could remember it. Why, I wonder? Is it because it is so different from the rest of the content, that more than just standing out, it stands apart from the film?

Now you come to mention it, I always forget that too. It is a weird bit.

The Corpse Bride. Not bad, but not a patch on The Nightmare Before Christmas. And the internal logic of the movie seemed a bit wishy-washy.

I couldn't agree more! :)

:( Please don't mention Christmas! you lot are worse than Tesco!

Mesrine: Killer Instinct. It was tres violent. Part two tomorrow. EDIT: Just seen part two. Even more violent. Top films though.

Just watched part one. Great stuff, especially after he arrives in Canada (the jailbreak and subsequent return is amazing). Can't believe I'd never heard of Jacques Mesrine before these films.

A Single Man. A grieving gay college professor in 1960s America prepares to kill himself. Colin Firth's very good, but it's too restrained for its own good.

I thought it was fantastic. Although, if I hadn't seen it you would have ruined it for me.

FIDDLE-FADDLE, ELEANOR! It's obvious right from the start he intends to off himself. And something suprising does happen which I didn't mention.

Yes, the spaceship... well done.

And Eleanor hey? I like you calling me Eleanor. Come in for a cuddle.
