I have no idea how you talked me into a role play night.

Just be a bit more open minded come on other couples are doing it.

Mike and Sara are in bed with headsets on each on a laptop. Sara is dressed as a French Maid, Mike as a gimp.

Sara
Fine! But if I loose my player rank your making dinner.

The game starts and we can hear Call of Duty playing through the tinny speakers.

Mike unzips his mouth.

Mike
Maybe we should just have sex I hate the snow levels.

BLACK

Fade up

Mike and Sara are in bed with headsets on. Each is playing a game on a laptop.

Yeah, maybe. World of Warcraft may be a better game, or a board game with dice.

Scrap all the in-jokes about player ranks and snow levels. There's only one joke in here, but it's a good one, so focus on it.

I can see this as a great five to ten second visual gag. Where we see the couple in bed together dressed up in weird shit while awkwardly playing God knows what on their laptops. And then one of them turns to the other and says "Maybe we should just have sex?"

It would work very well as a single-frame cartoon also.

I thought it was a play on roleplaying as a geeky game v roleplaying as sexy kink

a kind of double entendre writ large.

I wrote a whole unfunny pilot on the subject

I think if we keep the sound effects of a MMORPG like warcraft in there whilst they play it'll be best of both and be short and punchy as well.

I get where going with that. But to show the poke we'll need to cut away andthat's adding to the sketch. It's good and might be a good part 2 poking each other to do tea etc. But not sure it fits here.

I just can't see how you'd get across one was poking the other unless did in a Scott Pilgrim esque way.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. The pokey thing physically travelling from one laptop to the other, but nevermind. Carry on, nothing to see here.
