But then shortly I won't have poets day as I won't have a job.

Surely every day is poets day if you're unemployed.

Are you looking for another job or giving it all up to concentrate on Stand up?

I'm forcibly going to be on the job market. Still waiting for the fine detail on the redundancy package but hopefully it will equate to about six months money which will give a bit of breathing space to reorganise the finances and the axe won't fall until July so there is a little time to get a proper job. I'd love to make my living (wouldn't most of here) out of writing and performing fulltime. Perhaps make 'em laugh or starve might be the incentive I need.

Nope. Only Friday can be poets day. Think about it. Doesn't matter whether you're a wage slave or not.

Whatsyor career path K L Riley

Stalled is the faectious answer but seriously twenty years as a lecturer. I think I have reasonable transferable skills in terms of playing tough audiences! I've also done a fair amount of am-dram/sketch writing over the years.

You could always take up private tutoring for very rich but thick kids.

Ben is keeping it real. Effortlessly.

Robyn is a bit of a zombie.

Robyn is a bit of a zombie.

Does that mean that Robyn has finished her essays?

I woke up at like 6.40 today because my body clock is all out. I have work today, too. :(
BUT I have drafted all my essays now! Yay!

Have a good one. Remember beginning, middle and end in that order. Tutors get picky about it. Link the conclusion to the question and make sure your argument is consistent and supported by authority. Cite everything in sight. Don't use Wikipedia or any other iffy website that might be written by a twelve year old. Spellcheck it in the local language and make sure that you submit the final version by the deadline and not a draft.
(This is what I have learnt from my students.)

Why?
