Well done you two!
I remember laughing at Shandonbelle's when she posted it.

Why have they stopped it? Run out of money?

Fosters have bought out Highlight.

Thanks, its a good feeling .Ive somehow managed win the additional prize of being followed by FengshuiDecoratoring into the bargain!

It wasn't you who retweeted my Feng Shui joke was it?

I like FengshuiDecoratoring anyway, they know their place.

It was me! I feel like telling them to go to their room and stay there ;)

Well done to BCGers Shandonbelle & Tony Cowards for their final #win100 top 3 £50 winning jokes.
Both better than the winning one (no offence to the winner.) IMO

The winning joke wasn't even original, it's been around for ages.

Money for old rope.

Maybe now I can go back to writing material for my stand-up act....

Oh, and I'm still waiting for my VIP card from when I came 2nd two months ago. Any other winners/runners-up had this problem? Emailed/twittered Comedy Highlight several times and just get excuses.

It happened all the time, I've lost count of the number of old jokes (generally slightly re-worded) which won the £100, still I'm happy to have got £50 for one of mine (and I'd previously won £100 so I can't complain).

Fosters were also running a comp at one point (I won £50 from that as well!) so they might decide to do another joke competition at some point.

Saw this article about twitter and thought of this thread! Featuring Gary Delany

Still soooo new at lots of things. New to comedy. New to here. New to Twitter (well, maybe not new, it has been like the in of custard in my cupboard, wtg for me to buy a cake for it).

Anyways, 'dognabbit' on twitter. Parkbench had long since gone.

Hi dognabbit,

Welcome to the forum - consider yourself added to the list!

Cheers

Hello All

I am very new to twitter but knew people on hear would be using it. I am @montydewitt if anyone is interested

I've been invited to take part in a Brits vs Yank twitter comedy roast, I'm not sure what this actually entails but it is being organised by BBC America and sounds fun.

Sounds like fun.. live international "sledging"..

UK v Aus would be better imo..

Oops I seem to have upset @philswales on twitter. If anyone knows him I would be grateful if you could please pass on my apologies. He has blocked me (my first of many no doubt!). Genuinely didn't intend to offend, just mistook his tweets as a call for bit of banter.

Apology accepted.

I didn't interpret it as banter, it sounded like you were taking the piss.

I asked what you meant, but didn't receive a reply straight away, and more time passed the angrier I got at the comment. So I blocked you, perhaps prematurely.

Anyway, all forgotten about now.

It took me ages to figure out what all of the fuss was about.

Bloody children.

Now, now girls!

I've already had issues with Stewart Lee this week. Don't make me hate you too.
