I believe they are many different forms of cancer.
...I think the point about the study is that it suggests that alcohol can cause lots of other cancers in addition to all those traditionally thought of as 'alcohol-related' cancers.
The figure I came away with was that even if you drink 'sensibly', about a drink or two a day, you still increase your chance of getting cancer by 5%. Maybe in the near-future, we will look back on the way drinking is relatively socially-acceptable, with the same amazement that we currently look back on people smoking.

Nah, it seems almost everything can cause it, according to scientists we should not eat or do anything; and even then you might get it.
