I'm one of those people who isn't really interested politics, but who thinks that they should vote because it's my right, damnit!
So what are people thinking about the AV vote?

stupid idea to let undeserving minority parties into government
is that an FW De Klerk quote?
I'd be for giving it a try. Like many people, no doubt, I live in a constituency where a toad would get a massive vote if if it stood for the particular party. Consequently I am effectively disenfranchised - I always vote but my vote counts for sod all. It would be nice to think I'd some say in an election. I actually like the Scottish election system where we vote for an MSP and a LIST MSP. That way, I feel I've some say in things, though I know AV is different.
Yes to AV.
I was in South Africa for the '94 elections, and it was totally humbling to see people queue for days to cast their votes.
But there's so much spin on this ballott that I can't figure out. A bit of me thinks AV is good, everyone gets their say. but another bit of my worries how much more it's going to cost, and if you're not good enough to get a majority then you're not doing enough to be integrate with all of your community.
*scratches head*
You should vote yes. Yesyes.

Sometimes Wicks you go too far!
Surely we should look to Nick Clegg for advice?
I can't be bothered voting. It seems like only last year we were voting in a general election and now they expect us to go through all that rigmarole again.
But there won't be another referendum on the voting system for a long long time. This will be your only chance to give an opinion.

But it stands no chance of getting through. It's tainted by Clegg and the Liberal Democrats supporting it who are the most hated people in Britain.

There's something quite impressive about his fall from favour. Blair had to get us into two wars to get that level of national contempt.
