I'm about to see.... Page 4

Hancock, Shrooms and Taken are all flawed but fun.

I've now got Mesrine through from Lovefilm. Although don't know when I'll have time to watch it.

It is a big un if you want to watch both parts together. Alongside that on my shelf I've got Che parts 1 and 2.

Hobo With A Shotgun. Roll VT!

Hobo With A Shotgun.

Ultra violent but most enjoyable. I doubt I'd every want to watch it again though.

I watched Napoleon Dynamite for the first time last night. It should fail on every level but strangely doesn't and because of it I've decide that I'd rather vote for Pedro than AV in a couple of weeks.

A brilliant comedy. I agree it shouldn't work, but it does, mainly because it somehow avoids falling into any one definable comedy genre.

It's just so out there and brilliant.

The basic idea behind most of the comedy is very simple, yet brilliant. Have a high-school based comedy where you have two main characters suffering from arrested development. Napoleon and Kip are basically a 9 yr old and a 13 yr old (respectively) trapped inside adult bodies. Couple that with a incredible confidence on the part of the writers/director that the childhood memories they've dredged-up and put in the script are funny when used in the right context - and you've got a movie that is greater than the sum of its parts.

Looking
through my Recorded Movies

Oldboy
Hitman
She's the One
In Her Shoes
Gone Baby Gone

Any one of these worth trying first, and any that should just be deleted and never spoken of again?

Oldboy is suppose to be good, if not a little strange. Only seen Hitman out of the others, which was ok but not something you'd recommend.

Cheers Nil
I wasn't expecting Hitman to be a classic but thought it might be a decent, switch off your brain action flick.
