Sorry to go on, but I really never knew there was so much grey squirrel hate. They're just as cute as any other little fluffy garden animal to me. Am nonplussed.
Don't you think they look cute scampering about in trees and stuff? And nibbling acorns out of their little furry paws?

Yes. I manage to find both red and grey squirrels cute.
Amazing, huh.

They're cute, but bad. Like whatever toad it was that was introduced to Australia and went and killed their own creatures. It may have been in America. May have. Your lack of concern for our indigenous animals is probably an afront to us all. Especially Bill Oddie. Bill Oddie would punch you in the throat.

Ha, he'd punch anyone, I reckon he's a right little angry goblin.

(And toads aren't cute, so it doesn't count.)

I think you guys are just giving the grey squirrels the attention they're clearly seeking.

THOSE SNEAKY BASTARDS!

Told you they were evil! Give me a fox any day.

What a stunt.

Has anyone ever seen a red squirrel?

Yes. But not recently.

I hear that surviving populations have gone North to Scotland.

Interestingly, when I once visited Princeton University in New Jersey, they had lots of jet black squirrels running around and some that were albino version of the black ones so they were pure white.

Yes, you can't keep the little bastards down. I reckon they'll take over the world and kill us soon.

Have you seen the videos of the squirrel throwing bird feeders.

Catching grey squirrels is fraught with problems.

You are not allowed to release them, but if you kill them in the wrong way you could get fined £1500 and the only approved (?) way is to have them put down by a vet & that might cost you £70.

People shouldn't even consider messing with nature and killing wild animals. They're none of our business.

He should have been fined more.

Why catch or kill them? They're here now. Let's just leave them.

So if someone started releasing cobras and crocodiles in the UK would you offer the same response?
