How did the Radio Reject show go?
It was good! Everything got laughs (not always everywhere hoped for, but hey). and it has been recorded courtesy of BCG technical gurus. More on that from Afinkawan, probably, in due course.
Will Cam, your 'Happiness' sketch was a real highlight for me - rewritten a bit since Newsjack turned it down I think? Tonight's performance suggests they missed out on a cracker.

I sent in the NJ version but Lydia asked me for a rewrite to split it into two separate sketches (similar feedback when I posted it in critique). I managed to expand on the Ken Doddisms but unfortunately didn't have the time to write the Cameron reading Clegg policies at bedtime bit from the original. Thank you for your kind words.

I really ought to go on this forum more! It was a great show last night so thank you for your rejects. Please, writers , feel free to come along even if you don't have a sketch in! It's a great way to meet other writers and see what we're all about. We're running till 6 July now, so come along and see us!
As per the Newsjack queries- send the sketch in as is because we might use some of the intro or we might just cut it. Or better yet, make it a proper intro without Miles but keep the funny bits! Yes some news is old after a week but we managed to put in a few Newsjack things last night that worked really well: Gaddafi, Japan, Chilean miners- still funny.
The next show is 4 May but could I ask that everyone send sketches by the week before because of bank holidays etc?

Yes, definitely a good show and some superb pirating from the two Dans on my sketch so thanks for running it again, I was gutted I couldn't get along the first time it was used.
Unfortunately, the audio recording is rubbish, as you can tell from the link above.
I'll still chop people's sketches out if they want to hear them but I don't think it's going to be any use for a podcast or anything else. Not sure why my gadget does a better job through it's own microphones than it does hooked up to a mixing desk.
Excellent pirating indeed Afinkawan. Dodgy sound quality notwithstanding, I'd be really grateful if you could let me have a copy of Gaddafi and Virtual Motherhood. I think they were next to each other in the running order.
