I saw the arrow one.
He's the dad from Sarah Jane Adventures! Was he in the pilot, I wonder. Can't remember that far back.

That's Joseph Millson. I was at drama school with him. Bloody nice bloke.

Pretty sure he was.

Ah. My memory's rubbish!

Ooh!
He's great.
(That's quite the impressive typo)

Yeah, I...did it on purpose. :$

Yeah, but still... :$

I must have got all flustered.

Well, he's a handsome man!

It seems he got second billing. https://www.comedy.co.uk/tv/campus/details/

He was in it a lot, but I think Nyman's character was so big that none of the others lingered long in the memory.

I so want this to be brilliant. I just hope they've got some sort of format organised. The pilot had voiceovers, mockumentary elements, fourth-wall-breaking and was a wee bit all over the place. I suspect the actual series is going to be the same. But if it's half as funny as Green Wing I won't care.

Green Wing was one of my favourite comedies of the 00s, so will be interested to see how this pans out. I didn't watch the pilot episode for one reason or another, so can't comment on that. I have, however, just watched the trailer at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlH4t9u8l_Y - I only laughed at one bit, but will tune in on Tuesday nonetheless.

Or a commissioning editor has seen 'Community' and made a British version. But instead of students it's about the staff.

The Pilot of this was on around the same time Community started, so it's not as though they saw it and tried to copy it. Plus the fact that the pilot was nothing like Community, apart from them both being comedies set in educational establishments.

That's assuming they didn't see it before it was broadcast or they didn't know it was in production. You would expect it to be part of their job to see what's being made abroad.
