Famous people you have met... Page 37

We were in that pub in Bray (The Crown or might have been The Hinds Head) back in the late seventies and who should walk in and share our alcove all night?

Michael 'Parky' Parkinson and Billy 'Big Yin' Connolly.

Walked past Tamsin Greig on Oxford Street last night. They then shut down the Victoria line adding an hour to my journey home. I'm assuming the these two incidents are unconnected.

I went ice skating a couple of years back, and she was there. Ice skating.

Eh?

I met Christine and Neil Hamilton today. She is actually very nice and gave a good speech.

I actually quite like Christine Hamilton, which is remarkable in that I normally hate toffs.

I imagine she'd be in for bit of a rerr terr (Sassenachs Google that if you can!)

Some famous people I've met, talked to, walked past:

Robbie Coltrane
Liam Gallagher
Ewan McGregor
Jonny Lee Miller
Liz Hurley
Jason Orange
Gary Barlow
Keith Duffy

And I once sat next to Eddie Izzard and Julian Clary in the BA lounge and everyone thought I was their manager and kept giving me their Fringe flyers.

I heard you met multiple Win100 gag maestro Steve Sunshine.

Yeah, but I had to pull your tongue out his arse before I could kiss it.

:D

10 years ago I walked past Mel Smith. This year I finally completed the set and walked past Griff Rhys Jones. It made me very happy.

I had to Google him, really!

Never heard of him in my life before!

Bliss!

:)

Your life has thus far been wasted.

It was for a friends birthday in a very trendy hotel bar, Gary, Jason, Howard and Mark were having dinner next door and popped in for a drink.

Luckily we'd given my friend Take That CD and Calendar as a present so the boys were happy to sign. They were very sweet, but their wives / girlfriends were a bit growly.

The first time I spoke to Jason Orange I had no idea who he was either, I just assumed he was part of the Orange mobile network.

I couldn't understand all the fuss from the other girls in the office.
