I've just seen... Page 149

Idiots. They just left more awesomeness for the rest of the cinema to share, clearly.

Dark Water.

Rather enjoyable.

Not exactly just, but over the last week...

The Taking Of Pelham 1-2-3.
Charmless remake of The Taking Of Pelham One-Two-Three. John Travolta does a Samuel L. Jackson impression throughout (bit of religious-talk, random SHOUTING, bizarre facial hair).

Romanzo Criminale.
Epic Italian gangster film spanning 25 years in the life of four criminals. Not quite Goodfellas, but still pretty damned fine.

The Hunted.
Benicio Del Toro is running around in the woods killing poachers. Tommy Lee Jones is the tracker brought in to stop him. Cliched manly fun that made me wish there was more hand-to-hand combat in my life.

The House of the Devil.
A babysitter falls into the hands of a group of Satanists during an eclipse. Slow-burning to the point of no-burning at times, but still provides some nice old school chills. Nifty homage to the early works of John Carpenter and Roman Polanski too.

The Dark Hour.
Spanish drama about survivors in a bunker after some nameless apocalyptic event. Literally like a feature film version of the Mitchell and Webb "After the Event" sketches. But without the quiz show bit. Enjoyable, although I tend to like any old shit about the end of the world.

Spread.
A sexually explicit comedy drama starring Ashton Kutcher, Anne Heche and somebody else. It's literally the second best Ashston Kutcher film ever.

Iron Man 2. Disappointing. Watchable enough, and Robert Downey Jnr is just the right side of massively-pleased-with-himself, but meandering and fails to build any momentum. And Samuel L. Jackson and Scarlett Johansen were just pointless.

The first Iron Man was definitely better.

Don't fancy the Pelham 1 2 3 remake
The original was fine thanks

What's the point of thatttt?
Oh for god's sake. Angry

Remaking Time Bandits? :(

A Pelham remake was pointless, although it does remind you just how perfect the original was. "Gesundheit!"

They'd probably have to use most of the same dwarves.

"Gesundheit!"

Wasn't he in Police Academy too, and Three Men & A Baby?

Dwarves?! It'll be that f**ker from Willy pissing Wonka, CGI'd to the max. Bastards.

Sick Hated that.

Ironman2 was a mess with some very funny and funky scenes.

Mickey Rourke and that rubbish arms dealer made it worthwhile.

Oh and hands off Timebandits you bastards, it's one of my favourite films

Long Good Friday could work...

"Collins and Ryan are also pushing ahead with a 'Time Bandits' reboot and are in talks with a Hollywood co-producer to redo the Terry Gilliam pic as a bigscreen kids action franchise."

Oh, write a new f**king film, for god's sake.

I hate the term "reboot", it's as though the original wasn't good enough. What happened to "remakes"?
