Poster advice?

Trying to put together an Edinbrough poster by msyelf rather than pay for the graphics, do you have any thoughts on this or tips?

Thanks JOJ

I'd centre the blue text too, but it looks good, eye-catching.

Look at all the other posters, and do something totally different, otherwise you get lost in the fog. Don't be scared to do one or two colours, that stands out. Use ONE FONT! Don't use exclamation marks. Diagonals draw attention, horizontals are restful. If all posters are red your blue one will stand out, one can use black on a coloured paper etc. Green doesn't sell (as a colour it is generally avoided in ads).....general advice cos I can't see the poster....

Yes as Angie said I'd centre it and perspectiveise it all as well .. if that is easily done??

Ooh. Never heard that before.

They used to not have green book covers but I have seen plenty.

I would have thought anything that stands out (and is appealing to look at) is good.
All books within a genre seem to look exactly the same at the moment. Is silly.

I'd also hope that no one from Lucasfilm is in Edinburgh in August. ;)

Thanks for the advice guys I'll give it another shot... do you think it needs pictures of me????

Do you look like C3PO?
