She was having an affair with his brother.

I don't get it.

That just makes me think of a Mexican in a dress.

Who? Salma Hayek?

Who? Salma Hayek?

Oh yeh. I forgot to say Mexican man. Think I missed a trick there.

I don't get it.

...I've failed you.

? Suppose there were 3 or more brothers altogether. Then it doesn't work.

A chapter of my life might actually have finished today.. I might actually have succeeded in closing two Barclays accounts, that have been a PITA for the last two years at least with all their petty red-tape.

All it took ! was a letter 3 weeks ago that was ignored, then phone call this morning to Customer Services who left a message to the relevant person to phone back, but she didn't as she didn't get the message, then I managed to get Customer services to connect me to her, but she couldn't do certain things over the phone, so then I had to rake up my archaic skills at sending a fax from my computer with a copy of the 'lost' letter. But at first that just tried to share the phone line, so I had to arrange to ring off & send the fax & she would phone back afterwards. Which is what eventually happened.

She has said she processed it all, so I'm crossing my fingers & toes & hoping that this time what they say will happen actually will happen.

I wish I had never chosen Barclays for these company accounts 31 years ago.

F**king hell. Banks are a f**king nuisance. If you ignore their letters they get all arsey about it but they "loose" stuff all the time.

I'm wondering how Teddy got on at his meeting on Tuesday.

Teddy?

You know, Teddy....from Critique.

A production company read his sitcom on Critique and asked him to come for a meeting to discuss. I hope it went well.

Oh exciting.

SCATS. I saw on TV last night that if you plant toilet or kitchen roll tubes and then plant the sweetpeas inthe tubes they grow faster and happier! And the tube biodegrade :)

On my way back home. Yay!
