Great news- it is a top drawer comedy. I love the side plots, too.

Sally's character is supposed to be (I believe) a bit snobbish and standoffish. I can see what McCartney saw in her. She probably could have written a tell-all book, but never did - at least, as far as I know.
The tall guy kinda reminds me of Compo.
Jane Asher (Sally) has always refused to officially detail the 'McCartney years'.
She is definitely a, err, GILF. I think that is the correct term coined by some wag.
I'm glad the show is coming back, but Sally is the weak link in the show.
Has a third series definitely been commissioned? Is there any word on when and if it starts filming?

No word on that. I'd be disappointed if it didn't return, but I've not heard anything, and it's been ... what, about a year since Series 2?

I still want the Paintings too! Or just a print, they could donate the proceeds. I don't know how popular that would be, I guess. Any word on when the new series may debut? And if?
