Which bits?

His intro to the stuff about love contained material he used on his recent BBC2 show. Still funny. Just slightly less funny than first time around.

Good show, though. And weirdly I like Lee Mack when he's on with Brooker, while usually he leaves me cold.

Day three of radio comedy listening; this Brooker show sounds good.

Oh it's on right now. :$

Clicked on Our Brave Boys on R7 today. Not the greatest fan of Martin Jarvis. Bit one dimensional but seemes to own a production company... However knowing a lot of service types and the lingo, that worked well. The really scary thing was this was from about 2002 and it is so spot on about the defence cuts.

Not that scary, surely? Defence cuts were known about in 2002. If it started talking about ministers' expenses or quantitive easing, you've probably got something to worry about...

Its was more the type of cuts. I don't recall them planning to scrap aircraft carriers and Harriers while retaining Tornados. It may well be where Fox got his inspiration from.

i see BBC radio 7 is morphing into Radio 4 extra or something soon

Hello Griff.

It does. Apparently we're go going to get the Archers Extra. Umm. Can't wait. Not.

There doesn't seem to be much in the way of radio sitcoms on Radio 4 at the moment.

I had a go at listening to an episode of Claire In The Community. Didn't like it.

A-z of the british countryside of radio 7

genius !

Sony Radio awards nominations are out and the only two radio stations that get a look in in the comedy section area are Radio 4 and Radio 2. Nothing regional.
Depressing is not the word.

But there aren't any regional comedy shows are there? Bar the 'bantering' breakfast shows, obviously.
