Newsjack - Series 4 Page 59

Well done to everyone who got something on tonight, and indeed at any time during this series. I've been impressed with the quality, the standard has been pretty high this time around.

Bollocks to it ;). When's Recorded For Training Purposes making a comeback?

Congrats Trabs and Badge(?)!

Well done for anyone who got stuff on tonight and indeed throughout the run. I can now retire from this thread my record totally intact.

There's always the Summer run if they do one to bugger it up. I think Radio 4 Extra is more my kind of station anyway. ;)

EDIT:

The irony of it. Since I posted the first part of this I've just had the email about another webchat tomorrow. Laughing out loud Laughing out loud

Anyone's heart just skip a beat when you got the email about the Newsjack webchat tomorrow?

"Hurrah! There's been an administrative oversight and I *do* have material in tonight's show!" I thought... Then I saw what it was really about. D'oh!

Is it Crack O'Clock yet?

What questions are there left to ask other than "why did you not use my stuff more" and "are you going to invite me to join the team"?

I've just learned that tomorrow there will be another Q&A session at 1pm.

Bollox. I had high hopes for my disgruntled geordie voice message complaining about regional stereotyping in the 'Batman man' sketch in episode two, who phoned in to say he dinae dinae dinae dinae dinae dinae dinae dinae like it.

That would have been brilliant for the week straight after.

Thanks - I'm a slow thinker.

After a lot of near misses with my submissions if there's any sketches tonight featuring Alan the Dalek satirising NHS cuts I'll be reaching for my lawyer...

Don't worry - no Alan the Dalek.

Congrats Trabs and Badge(?)!

Thanks Corey!

Looks like a correction, if I'm not mistaken.

Well done Trabs and Badge!

I finally had enough free time at a weekend to write 3 sketches, so was feeling quietly confident this week. Predictably I got nothing on...

Well Chuck Billed-Platypus is the best name so far.

Edit: I feel I should ask this. In the last series of newsjack there was a sketch based on Sarah Palin claiming the Dutch were the best people to call regarding the BP oil spill. It had the line "(Dutch accent) I will call the little boy that put his finger in the dyke and tell him to fetch his schnorkel."
It made myself and one of my housemates laugh for about a week. I want to know if anybody here wrote it, because I am very proud of them if they did.
