Fairy muff.

The Beat That My Heart Skipped. Excellent French gangster film with shades of Mean Streets. Although it is a bit depressing that France can make crime films like this and all we can come up with is Pimp starring Danny Dyer.

French films are ace. I really want to see Mesrine.

Ironically I nearly watched that tonight (or at least part one). The French do make some amazing films.

Agreed!
I still need to get that Pink Panther box set

I like Korean cinema it's mental.

Rec2. Not a shadow on the first Rec.

I still really enjoyed it though.

I still really enjoyed it though.

It was good. Just no where near as good as original. To many stories slowing pace down.

Apparently two more [rec] sequels are in the pipeline, [rec]Genesis and [rec]Appocalypse, which I guess pretty much tells you what they're going to be about. Although I like any old zombie-shite, so I'm up for them.

I only watched the original one. Was quite good and had its moments. Not bothered about seeing any more though.

I'm interested to see where they go with the 3rd and 4th. Apart from the obvious.

The also a Quarantine sequel out soon.

Quarantine 2: Terminal trailer

Burn After Reading. It doesn't quite work, but still enjoyable. Although I much prefer the Coens doing serious rather than comedy.

Even their serious films are comedies, to some extent.

There wasn't a lot of laughs in No Country For Old Men.

I thought there was a lot of humour in that; it's ingrained in all their films, even ones that might seem bleak. Javier Bardem was a mixture of scary and funny.
