The Crooners

Does anyone like these from time to time.
The Old standards sung by the Crooners of the 50's 60's and beyond.

Frank Sinatra, Matt Monro, Johnny Mathis, Jack Jones, Andy Williams to name a few.
Oh & the young Buble holds a tune quite well these days.

My favourite is probably Nat King Cole, what a voice

Of course yes
Love Dean Martin.

Like all of them, and Al Martino

Not sure if he quite fits the definition but I love Lee Hazelwood. Definitely croonerish.

All great singers and I have extensive collections of all their music.

Others just to add to the list are Frankie Laine, Vic Damone, Vince Hill, Buddy Greco, Just to name but a few.

I like Buble, and Harry Connick Jr.
And I do like a bit of Dean Martin.

Which bit?

The top fifth.

I like the crooners because they always dress sharp!

Love the Buble, and HCJ. Is Chirs Isaak considered a crooner? His voice makes my knees quiver.

Aw, I forgot about him! And his little wonky nose.

The head? Oh, god, it's probably hideously decomposed by now. (Tries to block the vision)

Sick

Are the any female crooners? Or is it just a man-thing?

KD Lang just came into my head (oo er).
Would she count?

Ooh and that woman! Norah thingy.

I don't know if the term Crooner is asexual.
But I'd add the likes of Shirley bassey or Barbara Streisand.
You could even call Adele a bit of a crooner I suppose.
