Another fabulous episode. Original and entertaining. The casting is very good and Mel is one sexy MILF.

I'm going off Lead Balloon but I will give Mel one... for her acting of course
Quote: Rick Skelton @ November 30, 2007, 2:51 PMDoes she play Mel? If so, I don't think she's gorgeous, but she's outrageously sexy. When she was tipsy last week, I wanted to jump into the TV. I think my wife is fed up with me mentioning it every time she's on screen. As if Jack Dee could pull her, the ugly git.
Haha, yeah, your poor Mrs. ... I'm trying not to become a male zooo here.

Hahaha, do we have a growing consensus (oo er) here then? I think we need to see more of her on TV. Not necessarily more more, mind, just... More.

And that Jack Dee is a veritable adonis among British comics. He just radiates animal sexuality.
Really enjoyed this episode so perhaps i have judged it too harshly too soon.
I am an idiot. Sorry.
i watched a bit of it and it made me feel sort of warm without ever making me laugh. i recognised the amusing situations, and smiled at them.
I really felt sorry for Rick in last night's ep. Not quite sure if that was what the writers intended though!
I think they did.
Who was the guy working at the car pound? I've seen him in another show recently, but no idea what.
Not much comment on last week's episode. Thought it was good without raising the bar from previous episodes or dropping from the standard that it has set so far. Not sure it has the legs to carry through to another series though.
A bit of a diversion, and proof I need to get out more - there was a character in it this week called Tommy Tickles, an 80's kids entertainer who had ended up advertising DIY, and had lewd accusations made against him. Doesn't that sound very similar to the character Des Kaye from Little Britain?
Coincidence? Based on fact? Does anyone care?
Yes, that's what I thought. Also some aspects sounded like Timmy Mallett.
I haven't watched the last couple of episodes of LB. It's just not funny/good enough to put time aside for. Or bad enough to watch out of fascination. It's better than average, but 'big deal'.

Tend to agree. Generally tape it and watch a few days later but don't find myself rushing to the TV at 2130 when it is on.

Don't know, but it seemed odd that both comedies should use such a strikingly similar situation, albeit one as a sketch show character.

I think it's the best sitcom on TV at the moment.
