More than forty, fewer than fifty.

42?

Good grief!

How many were poorly redeveloped sitcommision efforts I wonder?

Probably not many, considering the given character brief. Though I bet a couple might have.

My sitcom mission entry would have been quite inappropriate Laughing out loud

I'm not really asking you to count them, but any idea how many submitted in the end VS the number that expressed interest?

That's all I ever enter now whatever the remit. It's a winning formula!

radiat10n, I e-mailed Mike and he confirmed he got mine :)

That said, I'll probably keep writing Claykidz episodes just for fun

There were 40 odd enquiries and 27 actual submissions. Can probably let people know tomorrow.

Tell you what, it's weird being on this side of the application situation. Suddenly have a lot more sympathy for producers.

Will you atleast whistle the last post as you send out the rejections?

Mike: Don't worry, it's not as if you're going to be snuffing out people's dreams and stamping on their broken, rotting hearts. 'Kay?

What the--I'm on the shortlist! Big thanks to Mike!

Has anyone else who's submitted stuff heard anything either way?

I haven't heard anything since getting the news of being on the shortlist. I sent an email and a pm to Mike but he hasn't responded so I guess he's busy organising stuff. He said he'd be in touch in a week or so.

Yeah, I got the 'no thanks' email a while back now. Quite soon after he said we would.

Dan

Thanks guys, Mike has just emailed me back (I fell off the email list!)

Good luck to you Evan, hope it all works out.
