The more irritated and pissed-off he is the better! I have a resentment against Walliams ever since I was forced to watch a whole episode of the incredibly tedious dot.com drama Attachments.

Wow, I must now use the phrase 'blast from the past'.
Had forgotten about that entirely.

How weird to remember a time when David Walliams wasn't famous...

Ran for 26 episodes that programme. 26! Incredible. Tedious characters and their tedious lives running a tedious company which dealt with something tediously tedious on the internet... Andrew Sachs played Walliams Dad in it - very disappointed - played it a bit too Jewish for my liking - and without the Spanish accent, moustache or any "Que?"s. :(

26? Bloody hell.
I thought it was one of them 6 parters.

They might as well have repeated the same bloody 6 episodes four times or so each, for all the difference between them. Walliams specialised in constantly looking sullen and not dressing-up as a woman - that's how you can tell he was doing his serious acting.

Hehe!

Ooh, The Two Ronnies Mastermind sketch!
Okay, after *that* I'm going to bed.

Is it just me or have they completely missed out Room 101? I knew they were ~1 hour behind but this seems a bit drastic :/

Hope it's just been rescheduled.

Huh? OK have to look in now, it is as bad as I thought, but strangely watchable cos I have been drinking wine? Oh my God! I might DONATE...

I didn't see it myself, but my brother tells me that Room 101 had to be dropped because of time (mainly due to 8 Out of 10 Cats and Jedward), and was replaced with Call My Bluff featuring Tim Key and Alex Horne.

They replaced it with another show? How does that save time?

Aw. It finisheded.
Now we'll never know the answer to the question he asked just before the 24 hours were up!

Room 101 being dropped was a crime! The one that stood out was Blankety Blank, Paul O'Grady at his best.

Do we know how much was raised in 24 hours?

I think their view was that Room 101 would take too long to do, while Call My Bluff was a shorter format.

I remember it was touted as the next This Life, and Walliams character spent most episodes wrestling with his inner gay.

Ahh. Well I'm glad they did, I love Call My Bluff!

Congratulations to David Walliams, was there this morning at the finale of 24 hour panel people and he was brilliant ! Should have finished with a classic rather than Never Mind the Buzzcocks though !

Ooh, I was watching that bit online.
Did you get to see the gameshow before that as well? I missed everything this morning apart from Buzzcocks.
