Of course it's safe. Best before dates are generally balls for dry products.

I've just found in the dark recesses of the back of my food cupboard a large box of PG Tips with a best before date of June 2008. Thing is, the box has never been opened, still in cellophane wrapper etc. What do you reckon? Safe to sup or what? It's only dry leaves innit?

Test it on monkeys

It will be fine. "Best Before" is different to "Use By". They just won't taste as fresh/strong.

Just went for a lovely walk where I saw a bunny, a ladybird, and kestrel/buzzard/something or other.

Why do you snog grannies?

Did it eat the bunny?

Like some sort of 'Wind in the Willows adventure?

I very much hope not. The bunny hid in a hedge, so hopefully all is well.

Yes!

I fancy a walk in the park. I have two to choose from within a short walking distance. One we always go to, it's nice and that but not much wildlife or interesting things. The other one forces me to walk through a rapey council estate. Plus it's a Sunday so it will be full of chavs beating up their girlfriends. But when there's no kids it's a pretty nice park with lots of overgrown hidden path walky-bits.

I think I'll stay in. Errr

Aw, the second one sounds nice, sans chavs.

I even stroked a dog today. :O
Such nature we saw.
Normally I keep well away from dogs, but it was quite old so I thought it probably wouldn't kill me.

Trying to write a 300 word presentation summary that I almost forgot about.

Its safe, just think how long it used to take the old tea-clippers to sail from China to Britain.

And in any case you are going to pour boiling sterilizing water all over them.
