She certainly has impressive academic credentials. But she's called Chew Shit Fun! Laughing out loud

Well, she's excellent for not changing her name. :)

What format you rendering to?

WMV, 720x??? because I'm using Windows Movie maker.

Its a tutorial for the Scriptwriters' Toolkit, all captured by Camtasia, live with voiceover, then masses of cuts in it to remove where I said Umms & Errs & took too long to type or did things wrong. There was over an hour of original footage, cut down to 22 mins so far. It will need to be split in two & each shortened a bit to go up on YouTube later.

I wanted a rendering so I could see if it was OK.

I'm now trying rendering the first half on its own.

Then I'll do the second half later today & try find what I did that made it freeze.

Ah ok. I'm not familiar with Windows movie maker. But usual Microsoft bundle-itis, would suggest the software running out of memory. Or the file is to big for it to handle in one go.

I checked memory & disk space. I think it more likely that it didn't really like the bit where I speeded up the video of my typing by the 5th power of 2.

i.e. doubled the speed 5 times.

That sort of thing is likely to kill any software, let alone Microsoft software.

:D ;)

<later>

Tt finished rendering the first half, which I did by saving the 'project file' under a different name, with the second half all 'cut'.

Heh heh, it seems OK, but it has an extra 11 minutes of BLACK screen after the bit I wanted. Hey, ho...

Ah, found out why all the black stuff. I had left the final 'title' orpaned 11 minutes past the end of the first part.

RE-doing....

The BCG late shift isn't as fun as it used to be.
Is there a Doctor in the House?

Hooray.. It worked that time and part 2 comes in at 9 mins 47 secs which should just fit in YouTube.

Perhaps it isn't so much fun, because Ellie is worn out by her day job.

Cool

I hasten to add that my post wasn't a reply to your one.
But I'm glad you got your Vid sorted.

You're living in a coal mine?

Robyn was proposed to twice today, but despite this, she's only just had her day made.

Two proposals in one day can't be bad.

From the same guy, so...
