The final episode

You get to write the very, very final episode of any show or film or whatever.

Once it's done that's they burn the sets and it's over.

What would you write?

Sootyj first.

1 Eastenders. Albert Square destroyed by an atom bomb from Al Quaeda everyone dies.

2 Newsnight. Jeremy Paxman stares into the camera and says
"That's it you know everything that's happening my job is done, goodnight."

Turns off the lights and goes out for a pint with John Snow.

Final episode of Simpsons. All die in a street wide riot.

That's kinda cool, what's the riot about?

I dunno. Maybe they decide Apu is a member of the Taliban because he's the only ethic member of cast and Flanders Marge and SKINNNNERRR! want to turf Apu out.

Homer, Lisa and.....Karl? Rally the other faction. There is street violence and shit.

.......and it's replaced by .......

Meet the Newmans!

The end of Corrination Street: the whole street finds out they have aids which origionated with ken barlow

I like that.

Casualty. Dave Cameron blows up Holby and machine guns the survivors.

What about the last remaining villager standing over a mutilated corpse in the village of Midsomer (insert suffix here)...?

:D Oh yeh I never even thought of that ;)

Coming of Age. Everybody responsible for the making of it is forced onto the set and is bummed to death by gorillas.

Oddly enough it would still be painfully boring and I switch off half way through...

Countdown, its the final countdown... The countdown clock spins frantically then flies off stabbing Gyles Brandreth through the jumper. The Oxford English dictionary opens mysteriously at letter 's' and there is a close up of the word 'Satan'. Jeff Stelling pulls off his Jeff Stelling mask to reveal that he is indeed Satan. Satan enters the audience and is bashed on the head by a handbag-wielding pensioner. Big Daddy appears to cries of 'easy, easy' by the octogenarian crowd. He does 'the splash' on Satan and that will do for now.

Surely it will be revealed that Richard Whitely is, in fact, still alive - and that the last 6 years have just been an elaborate dream sequence?

An indeed estimable answer and welcome back sir!

surely though the number corner would keep coming to 666.

I also would like to see the final episode of 15 to 1.
Where a particularly agressive contestant shouts
"we are 15 and he is 1!"
Before assaulting the presenter as a mob

Well you'd better build that time machine and go back to 2003 then. ;)
