You didn't see Blink?!

That was the most amazingly fantastically scariest most brilliant episode EVER.

:)

I'll go get it and watch it later today then.

The Girl in The Fireplace

That one was sad.

:(

Theres been some great stories in the last few series, the Human Nature ones, all of Moffats contributions, Dalek; but for me the most exciting bit had to be the last ten minutes or so of Utopia, when Derek Jacobi pulls out that familiar fob watch and everything starts to click into place, and just that look of pure malevolence in his eyes when his memories return; I was bouncing up and down on my couch like a sugared up eight year old during that-perfect TV!!

Oh, and I dont know if anyones managed to catch the Sarah Jane Adventures on CBBC, but what a great and classy kids show that was! Far better than the should-have-been-great-but-was-a-bit-poo Torchwood. Lets hope the 'wood improves on its second outing, and that they dont just all hate each other for no apparent reason again; and that they actually remember what kind of character Captain Jack is this time, instead of seemingly ignoring his Dr Who persona and just making up their own Jack again. Bring back the fun Jack! Just cos its an 'adult' show it doesnt mean it has to be dreary with everyone bickering and swearing and f**king, thats a teenagers idea of what an adult show is.

I loved the Sarah Jane Adventures!
But I also loved Torchwood too.

This series, they're going to show an edited version of Torchwood later in the week for kids to watch!
Which I think is a great idea, even though it'll probably end up being about two minutes long. :)

So much potential in the show just squandered though, there was cocky guy who really jut stood around and shagged everything there was the Welsh Lurch, Jack who was "I've been reading the jack buar hand book but made 'these' changes" I liked the police woman Gwen but she moaned on a bit and then there was Tosh who really didnt do anything lol. But I did buy the boxset support "made in Wales and all" lol arent I fickle lol!!

But I really hope they do something with it because it could be a juggernaught.

It wasn't perfect. And there was sometimes too much sex in it. (I cannot believe I just said that.) But I still really enjoyed it.

Yeah, some of the characters seemingly had no purpose, like Tosh! And who cast that bloke who shagged everyone? A good enough actor, but he looks like a fish, you dont really believe hes all that irrisistable! And as for Gwen, a good character, but the fact she so quickly cheated on her bloke just because she couldnt tell him what she does at work made me sort of lose any sympathy I had with her character at the start. And why do they all have a go at jack all the time?! This could be a great show, and the superbly creepy final two episodes showed just how good; lets hope the writers have learnt a thing or two and moved on now. I did read one of the shows writers saying that for series two the 'wood are going to be more united and be bickering less, which sounds hopeful. Oh, and why did they have a dinosaur cooped up in the hub?! I noticed they quietly dropped that idea pretty quickly!

That's good to hear!
Spike from Buffy being in the first episode sounds good too.

That old bloke for Ugly Betty who used to be in Neighbours is supposed to be in an episode to! Which seems bizzare, but great! I hope that creepy old guy from the last two episodes comes back too; Bilis I think the characters name was, when he turns up in the cells and stabs Gwens bloke! brrr . . .

Jim Robinson?

Must he be in EVERY show ever made?!

I thought he was going to turn out to be the master when I saw it originally. That woulda been kick ass. Yeah the character dynamics really did go all over the place with each episode contrdict them selves but I'm going to keep the faith...for now. :)

Yum yum

I haven't watched any of Ugly Betty series two yet. Damn.

And what was this Blink thing you're all on about anyway?

(P.S. I don't remember that much sex in Torchwood. Maybe I missed a load of episodes.)

Blink was one of the best from series 3 I think.

Blink is the Doctor Who episode with the weeping angel statues.

Scared the tits off everyone.
