Happy birthday Henman

Happy birthday

To one of the few proper writers on BCG!

Who deserves an award for writing messages for spiteful cards to be handed out by the resident office Nazi to people everyone hates.

A talented, animator a polymath of a 1000 voices.

One day his sitcom about sex offenders running a Butlins for nuns with leprosy and nymphomania featuring Jim Bowen will get made.

A man who can you puke and laugh in equal measure (which is probably quite dangerous)

And emeritus professor of dirty words at a Newcastle doing ground breaking research into a new term for "vinegar strokes."

Happy birthday Lee!

Happy Birthdayyyy!!!

Aww cheers guys.

Happy Birthday, Lee!

Did you get any good presents?

Jeez this is a comedy forum, can't anyone writing anything slightly witty in the birthday greetings?

Idea for greetings card:

FRONT
'As it's your birthday, I thought I'd buy you one of those cards with a message written on the front which at first sounds sincere and complimentary but then, when you look inside, turns out to have been a set-up to a witty and hilarious derogatory punchline...'

INSIDE
'...but I couldn't find any - so here's a card written by Lee Henman instead!'

Happy Birthday, Lee. All the best with everything in the next year, mate. ;)

(So, to answer sootyj's original question: no. :()

That's was positively dadaist.

Well done!

Sootyj's version

FRONT

It's your birthday what luck
You're a charming fella full of pluck
Hope you're ready for your birthday....

INTERIOR

Eviction.

Yours sincerely Mega Bank Bastard PLC
PS we f**ked your dog, he didn't like it but we did.

Atleast that was my only birthday card.

But enough about [insert your punchline here]...

(And... relax.)

I saw the header of this thread and thought...why is the BCG wishing former British Tennis No.1 Happy Birthday? D'oh!

But now I'm here I'll chip in my two penn'orth

Happy Birthday!

And tell Sue Barker I said hello when you next see her.

Do you regret dating Aaron?
