I think you can only truly call yourself a "stand-up comedian" when you've gone down a storm at a gig, then taken advantage of that fleeting adulation in order to get a (drunken) member of the audience to f**k you after the show.

Bitter? Me? No, no, no, no, no... I've nothing against stand-up comedians, it's just that - based on the few years I spent in their company - on the whole I think they're despicable human beings with the sexual morals of feral dogs and the emotional literacy of institutionalised sociopaths. They do make me laugh though, the scamps.
