I'd offer to help but I don't really know anything about editing I'm afraid. I just press the record button on my gadget and then later tell it where to split the mp3. That's about the extent of my expertise!

Anyone going on Wednesday? I'll try to make it along again.

Wednesday? Ah, looks like I missed the boat for this month.
I'll just keep working on building up a store of rejected Newsjack material by March.

Sadly can't go - which I'm gutted about, as I've had my first rejection accepted (as it were)! A Cameron/Clegg good cop/bad cop one that Newsjack didn't use.

Unfortunately I can't make it. Will you be recording Af?
how do you know if you've got a sketch in?
They tell you, via email, beforehand.
no email yet, not looking good!

Yes, assuming the battery on my gadget lasts!
I'm in the Albany now, having a pre-show Old Rosie or two.
Oh well that's good
I can't make it this time so It would be nice to hear a recording.

I don't want to get in the way of any plans they have to do a podcast but as long as Lydia doesn't object I'm happy to send people their own sketches to post or not, as the mood takes them.
Hmmm... I wonder if I own enough technology to do a live video feed...
Great, thanks Af. Mine's next to yours in the running order so hopefully the gadget holds up.
Some lovely sketches so far. Gadget battery holding up for the moment.
I really should remember to eat before starting in on the Old Rosie...
It was a good night but I should have left the pub a bit earlier - I managed to leave the Albany about the same time my last train goes past where I live. Oops.
The recording seems to have come out ok. Just recharging the batteries then I can start converting it, chopping people's sketches out etc.
Right, learning Audacity as I go - here's the first sketch. Mine.
Others on their way.
