I nearly bought that one from Amazon. I'm getting increasingly paranoid about a zombie apocolypse though. I think I need a break before I have a nervous breakdown.

BUT THEY MIGHT. I was looking up high level peninsulas on the north easters coast yesterday, as I think they're the best option- easiest to fortify. THERE'RE ANREN'T ANY. The nearest feasible one is on the SW coast of Scotland. Must be a week's walk.

I need a short term safe-haven in Newcastle incase it happens. If electricity goes off my building is udeless because all of the doors are electromagnetically locked. Tynemouth lighthouse might be an idea, but really once you're cornered there there is no way out. Pah.

'A Week in December' - Sebastien Faulks. Quite engrossing - the financial info I find hard to follow but just accept the gist of it.
