Who's Micheal Jacob? Huh?

That's something I frequently ask myself, generally when approaching the end of the bottle.

:D

Early retirement eh? Nice.

Good luck with whatever you get up to.

I met Micheal for the first time at the end of last year and found him to be the very best of thoroughly good eggs. All the best with your future endeavours, Micheal!

Yes he's a gem, sorry that I never got the privilege of meeting him

Micheal, good luck with your pastures new.

Have you considered offering a script critique service to us aspiring sitcom writers? You know, the sort of £75 per script sort of thing. I would imagine your feedback would be worth its weight in gold considering you have seen it all and done it all.

I'm ready to write a cheque! :)

Def.

Have only met Micheal once, on a BBC workshop, but he was extremely helpful, open and above all incredibly encouraging of new writers. And to take time as well to post on here to help out people, blimey. Best of luck in future roles and please don't avoid us on here!

Never met him, but he did give me invaluable feedback on a few sketches so he's a good chap in my book & I wish him the best.

Chortle have managed to spell Micheal's name wrong in the title of that article. Eejits.

Catastrophically wrong - twice. And they've still not managed to realise.

Anyway, best wishes of course to you in your continuing adventures, Micheál! :)

Yes please.

I mean I won't read your script and I now flip all about editing.

But I'm willing to offer you 75 squids worth of bland encouragement and inexpert adivce.

Chortle have never been good at spelling.

Never met the fella but Micheal sounds like a lovely chap, so I will jump on the band wagon and wish him the best of luck :)

He ain't ded yet.

Micheal is 20 years younger than me so you still have a chance there.
