I ummed and ahhed for a minute because I only had a tenner on me and then some utter vagina came up and bought it from under my very nose. Godamn it I HATE losing out on a bargain. Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry and also Angry

FOOOOOLLLLLL!!!

I know. I felt like whipping myself with a hessian strap until the fibres turned crimson with my foolish, avaricious blood. I was wanting a couple of quid off, you see. I was about to offer him 8 pounds. It's a failing of mine, I CAN NOT pay the full asking price of ANYTHING at a car booty, regardless of how cheap. If somebody was selling a lost Van Gogh masterpiece for tuppence, I'd try to knock them down to a penny.

It will be my undoing. :(

Oh Lee :( Which car boot was this? Ours haven't started up yet.

We bought a load of awesome storage boxes today and have set they up on our 'gaming shelves' with all of the controllers etc in the box and the console on top. when it's done it's going to look quite awesome.

There's a new Driver game coming out soon on Wii, Leevil. My friend is one of the designers and I have a street named after me :D

Cooool! Will look out for it :)

Dreamcast...

I think I played more Snes games on my Dreamcast then I did Dreamcast games. Not to say there were bad games, I was just so impressed with the ability to hack emulators on it, I spent most of the DC years catching up on games I had missed when I was a kid.

I know a way around that hack - don't buy the hack-proof model. :)

We bought Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Bulletstorm...can't decide which to play....

Right. Finished Batman:Arkham Asylum.

Very enjoyable but a bit too short and easy. The final fight with Joker was a bit of a letdown as it was definitely far too easy. I was expecting the fights against Killer Croc, Scarecrow and Joker to be really difficult. Oh well. Still the best superhero game I've played by far (unless you count inFamous, which was better).

On to Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

Might have to look up some reviews for bulletstorm, even though I'm seriously bad at FPS games. When I saw the advert for it there was a brief moment of excitement when I thought they'd finally released Duke Nukem.

They get so grumpy about people hacking their stuff.

I wouldn't use my PSP anywhere near as much as I do if it wasn't hacked.

How good does this look? http://www.rockstargames.com/lanoire/videos/

I've got a couple of HMV gift cards left over from Christmas earmarked for that when it arrives.

If someone has beat the game or knows how to beat the game help me.
I am stuck on a level where you lose your powers, go to your daughter, but the world will end also.
So you are in a small field and there are unlimited ghosts which you can kill
If you kill, you get powers back
But then badies come
Then Cutscene returns
I keep fighting and fighting, the badies go away, and there are unlimited ghosts.
And the portal doesen't close!
What Should I do?!

What game? Sounds like a level in one of the God of War games.

Found a copy of Mass Effect 2 for £8 and decided it was time to buy it. Just started on it last night. This is going to cost me some serious time, isn't it?

Bulletstorm looks like it kicks arse. It also has some of the funniest and most inventive swearing in any game, ever. Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SH0KH9F4He8&feature=player_embedded

Oh yes my friend. Yes it will. One tip if I may...help your individual team mates when they ask you to. Oh and Grunt is VERY useful.

Have fun, Shephard.

Scorton, near Richmond. It's a fair hike but it's a big indoor one, open all year round. Plus the buttie van does a smashing bacon 'n' egg bun.

Wasn't the game Driver more about car chases than shooting? That was quite fun. The thing is, my favourite part of GTA is stealing a car and trying to escape the police. All the missions and stories are very fun. But the police chase is the one thing that makes me keep coming back.

I love it when a cop says; "I have the arsehole in my sights." That creases me up every time.

I can't imagine what else you could do which would be so pick up and play within a sandbox world. I'm sure there are many things, but what could that be, that you couldn't do/get away with in real life?

I suppose I was thinking of rape.

The final joker fight is very easy - easier than the poison ivy boss fight. Arkham is a neat game but it's too fighty really. Once you learn how to batrang a titan whilst punching out a few convicts (about half way through) you've done it.

Well, yeah. Duh.

Dan traded in shitty Black Ops and bought Killzone 3. It's gorgeous. Sad there's no Sean Pertwee in this one though.

Next? Wii Dogging.

Killzone 3 is delightfully manic!
