Coming Of Age - Series 3 Page 3

No.

I watched Coming of Age yesterday, and the scenes with the new lovely lady lesbian character were pretty good.

Hmmmm
Interesting

I caught a few minutes of this last week and the lady vegan (presumably your lesbian) character was vastly superior to the rest of the cast.

I loved her reworking of an old adage to: 'I never eat anything that takes a shit.'

Has anyone ever managed to sit through an entire episode of this?

It's even worse than Grownups.

It's very encouraging that, in an age where prejudice and ignorance are still rife, the creators of Coming Of Age have had the courage to introduce a lesbian character who doesn't conform to the usual stereotypes...

Yes. Those blimmin' lesbians and their orange juice boxes!

I thought that that was a great episode tonight. Very funny and touching in places. Good stuff.

Phwwooarr!!! Arse, eh? Eh? ;)

Those lesbians can't get enough of that juicy vitamin 'C', eh? ;)

It's not even watchable in a 'so bad it's good' way. I had to turn off after five minutes last night, through fear of cringing myself to death. That fella who used to be in Shane is terrible.

This show is even worse than Terry & June.

Alan Ladd? Huh?

Julia Deakin (from Spaced and that) is in tonight's ep.

Some great emotion and mini-comic-drama in the last couple of episodes. Looking forward to this one.

Things must be getting desperate if you're trying to reach out to Spaced fans! :D ;)

It seems that, pretty much unanimously, that the critics/press/media have simply decided to turn their backs on this show and pretend it isn't happening.

It is curious how little debate this show, or its bedfellow Lunch Monkeys, has inspired. They seem to register zero on the comedy Richter Scale.
