Actually I have a naturally high level of uric acid. Its my grandfathers fault. He lost his toes. Which wasn't nice.

No I was serious.
Not a lot of people realise you can get gout while quite young.
Most people think you only get it when old from drinking too much port.
I had gout attacks in my late 20s.
