No, it's a great film, I loved it.

Word.

Doomsday. I know it's not as good as Neil Marshall's previous films, The Descent and Dog Soldiers, but it's still a lot of derivative fun. And Rhina Motri is very easy on the eye.

Is that the one in Scotland? If so I hated it very much. I'm not sure why, I just though it was deeply unenjoyable.

It could have been a lot better. I just thought Steve Merchant at least would of been brave enough to break the mold a little bit. Although nice to see a non "gritty" English movie.

Cemetery Junction.

Slighter than I was expecting, but it was okay.

I thought it was ok too. I've never been to Reading, but I get the feeling it's not quite as polished as it appears in that film.

Where was it filmed, Griff? Answer please!

The film looked very much like an American production - which I thought was a nice change for a UK film. I don't know the technical term, but it had that 'sheen' to it. And lots of sunlight.

Intacto. Odd yet engrossing Spanish thriller about people who can absorb the luck of others, thus making themselves luckier.

Surely a slight paradox with this premise is that having the ability to absorb the luck of others means that you've already been blessed with an exceptional degree of luck to begin with? Smarmy

*basks in own logical brilliance*

*touches Tim to absorb his luck. Soon wishes hadn't bothered*

I saw Mr Nice last night. Having read the book, I really enjoyed this and thought Rhys Ifans was brilliant in it.

Mr Nice, the Howard Marks biopic. Interesting stuff, but I wasn't keen on the use of the old footage with Rhys Ifans pasted on top. It just looked odd. 6/10

:)

I agreed about the old footage - it did look strange. But I just decided to live with it.

Inside Job.

Very good, very interesting. Even though "MATT DAMON!" sounded a bit bored throughout and the ending was a little sickly.
